Walk out this afternoon along Singapore canal to Marina Bay

Day 2: Weds. 22nd May
Brilliant start to the day with early walk near our hotel which produced amazing views of 4 Asian Smooth coated Otters .. just wow!!

Just as we were leaving for our trip the Mrs. Spotted a cracking bird in the large Palm trees right in front of our hotel … 2 Oriental Hornbills… massive beaks … amazing!!

Then a trip out to Singapore’s Botanical Garden’s: which again was a great way to spend the afternoon.

On our return from S.BGds a quick walk along canal to the Otter site and a very nice WBSeagle flew over … a great end to a brilliant day’s nature watch …thank you Singapore … you never disappoint!! And of course to my lovely Mrs. for her sharp eyes!!

Transfer to Bali…. !! Butterfly garden at T3 Changi ..amazing!! Horrendous amount of paperwork at airport did not endear us to the Bali experience one bit !! And the taxi driver was pretty useless too !!

Woke up very early 4:46am great to hear Nightjars in the Hotel gardens!! Started calling about 5:30am
