It is always an immense pleasure and a privilege to photograph Barn Owls … and after a heads up from a birding colleague about a local Barn Owl close to home I thought I’d give it a try. Well last night, I drew a blank .. but Who Dares Wins… and so I was out early morning. Couldn’t believe my luck it was out hunting before 8AM !!! And the light this morning was excellent too!! What a great session with these beautiful birds … yes there were two birds .. this only came to light when I was looking at the pictures later. Hopefully this is a pair and they could breed this would mean hunting Barnies over the Summer months … Let’s keep fingers crossed!!
