As my interests in birds deepened, I wanted to make a more permanent record of my observations – so the natural medium for me to turn to was photography. But gaining any credible images eluded me – even though I was very enthusiastic.
Then Digiscoping came along and I eventually managed to get some images that I was pleased with. But all that changed with the advent of the bridge camera – suddenly I was gaining more images that I could recognise! I was totally hooked. A quick fast forward from 2013 and now I have a Canon 7D mkII and a Canon 100-400mm .. a great combination and I am still in awe of what this set up can produce.
